Sandra J lives and creates in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains of California in the winter and in the deep northwoods of Wisconsin in the summer. "For me, there is nothing quite like creating art. When I paint or sculpt, I enter a quiet zone of creativity. There is no doubt that the Universe creates through me because when I finish a successful painting and step back to look at it, I barely remember creating it. Frankly, I can't believe that I did. Unsuccessful paintings invariably happen when I attempt to insert my will. Those paintings are not recoverable. In them I can see toil, and they do not make it into my body of work that is available to collectors.
I recently read a quote from Eckhart Tolle:
"All true artists, whether they know it or not, create from a place of no-mind, from inner stillness."
